General Information
Klabat Accounting Review (KAR) welcomes submissions of original and unpublished manuscripts that are not under review in any other journal. All submitted papers will undergo a plagiarism check, and any manuscript with a similarity index above 20% will be automatically rejected.
Manuscripts must follow the official KAR template, be written in English, and submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx)format. Use A4 paper size, single spacing, 10-point Century font, and a single-column layout. The manuscript length should range between 10–30 pages.
Manuscript Structure
Title
Author(s) and Affiliation
Abstract
Keywords
List 3–5 keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas.
Example: Corporate disclosures, GRI, sustainability, training, value relevance.
Introduction
Present the research background, objectives, and contributions. Identify the research gap and explain how the study fills it. Avoid numbering, bullet points, and subheadings.
Literature Review and Hypothesis Development
Discuss theories and prior research relevant to the study. Highlight how the current research contributes to existing knowledge and include hypotheses if applicable.
Research Method
Describe the research design, data sources, sampling methods, instruments, and analytical techniques. Provide enough detail for replication.
Tables and Figures:
Results and Discussion
Present the findings and interpret them clearly. Discuss the implications of the results in relation to existing literature. Focus on analysis and insights, not only numerical data.
Conclusion
Summarize the key findings, highlight the study’s implications, and suggest directions for future research. Avoid subheadings in this section.
References
References must follow the APA 7th Edition format and be managed with reference tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. Each in-text citation must match the reference list. Include DOIs whenever available.

Submission Process
Peer Review Process
Klabat Accounting Review implements a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts in the field. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback before a final decision is made.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright and grant Klabat Accounting Review the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper credit to the authors.
