Peer Review Proccess
Klabat Accounting Review (KAR) implements a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and academic rigor of all published articles.
Initial Screening
Each submitted manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Team to ensure it meets the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not comply may be returned to authors for correction or rejected at this stage.
Double-Blind Review Process
- Both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
- The editor assigns the manuscript to at least one or more qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the paper’s topic.
- Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, relevance, methodology, theoretical contribution, and clarity of presentation.
Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers may provide one of the following recommendations:
- Accept Submission
- Revisions Required
- Resubmit for Review
- Decline
Revision and Re-evaluation
- Authors are given an opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
- Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted through the OJS system within the specified timeframe.
- Editors may send revised versions for a second review before making a final decision.
Editorial Decision
The final decision (Accept / Revise / Reject) is made by the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revision.
Post-Acceptance
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading before being published online. All accepted articles are assigned a DOI and published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
