The 8th International Scholars Conference 2021 is hosted by Universitas Klabat, with this year's theme "Research, Practices, and Beyond." For the first time in ISC history, a virtual conference is held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It presents both challenges and opportunities. Such a challenge is the virtual nature of this conference that isolates us apart and locks us up in our homes. However, the pandemic has resulted in discovering a new strand, COVID-19.
