Journal History
Nutrix Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Klabat (UNKLAB), in collaboration with the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI), North Sulawesi. Established to support the dissemination of nursing research and evidence-based practice, the journal provides an academic platform for scholars and practitioners in various fields of nursing.
To enhance its credibility and formal recognition, Nutrix Journal was registered with both print and electronic International Standard Serial Numbers. The journal received its print ISSN (P-ISSN: 2579-4426) through a decree issued by BRIN on April 8, 2017, and its electronic ISSN (E-ISSN: 2580-6432) was granted on July 6, 2017. These identifiers marked the journal’s eligibility for national and international dissemination in both print and digital formats.
The journal began its online archival publication with Volume 3, Issue 1, in 2019, and has consistently followed a biannual publication schedule, with issues released every April and October. Through a rigorous editorial and peer-review process, Nutrix Journal ensures the scientific quality and integrity of each publication.
In recognition of its academic contribution and editorial quality, Nutrix Journal was officially accredited as a SINTA 4 journal by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, through Decree No. 230/E/KPT/2022. This accreditation applies to articles published from Volume 5, Issue 1 (2021) to Volume 9, Issue 2 (2025).
Based on the results of Scientific Journal Accreditation Period II of 2025 and the issuance of the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Number 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026, dated April 7, 2026, concerning the Rating of Scientific Journal Accreditation, Nutrix Journal succeeded received Accreditation Rating at SINTA 3.
Nutrix Journal has implemented an updated manuscript template, effective from the April 2026 issue, as part of its commitment to improving the quality and completeness of published articles. This revision reflects aimed at enhancing content structure, clarity, and overall scholarly presentation.
As an open-access journal, Nutrix Journal is committed to providing free and unrestricted access to its content, thereby increasing the visibility and impact of nursing research across Indonesia and the global academic community.
