HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG COVID-19 TERHADAP KEPATUHAN PROGRAM LOCKDOWN UNTUK MENGURANGI PENYEBARAN COVID-19 DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA BERASRAMA UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COVID-19 TOWARD COMPLIANCE WITH THE LOCKDOWN PROGRAM TO MINIMIZE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AMONG STUDENTS IN DORMITORY AT UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

Abstract

Covid-19 adalah pandemik yang penularannya sangat massif dan cepat penularannya. Hal ini sungguh meresahkan dan menimbulkan ketakutan di dalam lapisan masyarakat.  Penyakit ini hingga kini belum ada obat untuk menyembuhkannya. Oleh karena itu WHO mengumumkan program lockdown dengan tujuan pencegahan dan memutus rantai penyebaran penyakit ini. Seluruh lapisan masyarakat diminta untuk mematuhinya. Untuk mematuhi program ini masyarakat harus memiliki pengetahuan yang benar tentang Covid-19 dan program lockdown. Diharapkan dengan memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup dapat mempengaruhi perilaku dalam mematuhi program lockdown. Penelitian ini bertujun untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang Covid-19, tingkat kepatuhan terhadap protocol lockdown di kampus berasrama, ini, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variable tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan desain cross sectional (potong lintang). Populasinya adalah mahasiswa yang tinggal di asrama baik-laki-laki maupun perempuan dengan jumlah sampel 66 orang mahasiswa yang tinggal di asrama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pengetahuan dan kepatuhan melalui google form. Analisis data dilakukan dengan perangkat lunak SPSS. Didapati bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa berasrama tentang Covid-19 termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 80.77. Tingkat kepatuhan mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 70.6. Nilai rhitung 0,31 lebih besar dari nilai rtabel 0,2423 dan nilai signifikansi (p-value) adalah 0,805 lebih besar dari nilai alpha 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara kedua variable adalah positif dalam kategori hubungan yang lemah atau tidak signifikan.

Covid-19 is a pandemic which transmission is massive and very fast. This is really unsettling and creates fear in the society. Until now, there is no cure for this disease. Therefore, WHO announced a lockdown program with the aim of preventing and breaking the chain of spread of this disease. All levels of society are asked to obey it. To comply with this program, the public must have adequate knowledge about Covid-19 and the lockdown program. It is hoped that having sufficient knowledge can influence behavior in complying with the lockdown program. This study aims to identify the level of student knowledge about Covid-19, the level of compliance with the lockdown protocol on boarding campus, and to find out whether there is a significant relationship between the two variables. The method used in this research is a descriptive correlation study with a cross sectional design (cross-sectional). The population is students who live in dormitories, both male and female, with a sample size of 66 students. Data collection was carried out by distributing knowledge and compliance questionnaires via google form. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. It was found that the level of knowledge of boarding students about Covid-19 was in the good category with an average score of 80.77. The level of student compliance is in the high category with an average score of 70.6. The rcount value of 0.31 is greater than the rtable value of 0.2423 and the significance value (p-value) is 0.805 which is greater than the alpha 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the relationship between the two variables is positive in the weak or insignificant category of the relationship.
