Abstract
This journal focuses on the meaning of the word ‘release’ in Luke 4:18, 19 and its relationship with Sabbath. The prophecy of Isaiah 61:1, 2 fulfilled on Sabbath by Jesus Himself. The release part of Messiah’s work is perfectly shown in His ministry on Sabbath.
